Senator Ron Wyden speaks about the importance of StreamBank at the Ripple Effect.

Annual Benefit

Oregon Trout’s 25th Anniversary Benefit Dinner and Auction, The Ripple Effect, was held on Saturday, February 23, 2008. Anyone who attended will tell you that the evening was a huge success, grossing more than $300,000 and unlocking significant matching funds for StreamBank®. We were incredibly pleased that Senator Ron Wyden made time in his hectic schedule to discuss his support of our StreamBank work and its implications for local landowners and water health throughout Oregon. For the third year in a row, the Portland Art Museum’s Mark Building provided an elegant setting. Upstairs in the Kriedel Grand Ballroom guests raised their paddles for amazing trips to Belize, Maui, Montana and Mexico, as well as priceless adventure trips within Oregon. Special thanks go out to those who make this event a reality, including donors, volunteers, attendees, staff, Benita Peretz and Linda Witt from AuctionAssist, the world’s greatest auctioneer, Johnna Wells of Benefit Auctions 360, and especially our auction committee headed by chair Terry New.

Thank you to all of our corporate sponsors whose commitment made immediate ripples:
